 Mongol The Movie Review 2007

Ghengis Khan was undisputably one of the most powerful men in the world going from son of a Khan to slave, only to slowly make his way back up to conquer over half the world including Russia. This film takes you through the paces of his dramatic life, as he runs into constant struggle through out his life. This film gives you a great perspective of the people of the day and the great cinematic landscapes of the east.

The Painted Veil (2006)

The Painted Veil features some of the most amazing opening cinematic slow motion photography I’ve ever seen relative to that seen in adaptation. With amazing scenery of the Chinese country side you quickly come to appreciate the true painted veil that sets the scene.

A Flash of Irony

Treat all your customers with the same positive attitude

The other night I set up some advertisements on Craigslist advertising my companies offerings hoping to leverage the great free marketing that Craigs provides. I got quite a few responses, and some of them have become my clients. Most interesting of them was someone interested in the possibility of working with them or perhaps even merging their business with my company www.freshstandard.ca . Their e-mail was written in such an informal manner that I didn’t really take it seriously at first but decided to approach it professionally like every other client. Deciding that the meeting would likely be as brief, and as informal as the message I decided to bring my partner with me. It didn’t convey a lot of effort so I got the impression that they were likely not an overly ambitious operation.

Feast or Famine in Economic Review

October 1st, 2008

The present economic slump is nothing more than things returning to their true value, and the get rich quick schemes going belly up. We went from a 33 year all time high to stock market record lows.  Any time any market economy is borrowing more money than it is taking in it is sure to find recession around the corner. This formula applies to both the average consumer, and companies of all sizes.

Business Projects, Web Development, Patent Design, Networking Site

September 14th, 2008

It’s been long in between posts here, but I assure you it’s all for good reasons. I’ve been in the enterprising spirit again working late nights, and studying during the days. I’ve been investing vasts amounts of time into my business objective infrastructure, and doing projects for my clients especially as of recently in web development. My schedule is only going to get tighter so I’ve been racing to get everything done in a timely manner.

Adam J. Humphreys Networking Site Development, and Reviews

July 29th, 2008

I finally broke down to post up my own review site after much consideration. Sites such as Myspace and the like just don’t produce the kind of reliability a person is looking for these days. At this point with so many versatile interests I’ve found it necessary to commense my project in developing a review site towards an eventual goal of a networking site.   I came very close to my dream of a networking site, but had to abandon it last year due to poor management on account of a partner.  I learned a valuable lesson from working  as a web architect with them, and in the process contributed a great deal to a lot of other neighbouring network sites.

In the last few years as a film buff I’ve managed to write over 1000 reviews of movies, and I plan on posting them here shortly.  As an IT professional in networking, web design, and web development you can expect to see a lot of new tech reviews coming out soon. In the mean time feel free to leave your comments, and very shortly your ratings. The goal is a positive conglomerate of networking, and accurate information that people can grow from.

I firmly believe in the freedom of information, and the right to learn. The only thing that distinguishes us really is the tricks we learn along the way through experience, and most important of all imagination. One of the key factors to eliminating poverty is education so it has been made a personal goal to educate as many people as I can thus towards the direction of this site. Your feedback, and ideas will be the foundation of this site. I encourage anyone, and everyone to participate!
